Joni’s Diner

I was in Wisconsin checking out Lake Geneva for the first time this summer. We enjoyed a stay in a quiet motel and had a nice dinner experience by the water. The next morning I wanted to try out an classic diner I saw down the street from our motel. Walking in, it was like we stepped back in time–so far back it was from an era before I was born!

Having a great experience, I asked the man running the register if this was his business. He explained that @joni’s diner was his retirement venture with his wife and daughter (who is a trained chef). I asked if I could come back when the rush was over to record their story for a podcast?
